TCIA Accreditation — The Tree Care Industry Association accredits companies (not individuals) that meet standards for safety, business practices, and employee training. An accredited company has been audited against these standards.

Not necessarily. Certified arborists are not always more expensive than uncertified competitors. What they do offer is accountability — a certified arborist has a credential to protect and is more likely to follow professional standards and stand behind their work.
